The market for dairy-flavored products is growing steadily, and new exiting product introductions have sent the food industry searching for new quality cheese flavors.

The global supplier of ingredients, Chr. Hansen, has been active in dairy flavors for many decades with a key market position in North America. Now an equal set-up has been established in Europe ready to supply customers.

At FIE 2007, Chr. Hansen will present a comprehensive portfolio of enzyme modified dairy flavors manufactured at the Danish site in Graasten, based on EU ingredients and following EU legislation.

Innovation together with our customers

"Successful and innovative flavor development is a result of close collaboration between our competent flavorists, scientists and customers’ technical staff. Our creation group in Hoersholm, Denmark is ready and able to address the customer’s most challenging flavor needs quickly and economically with consideration to labelling and regulatory requirements. And the new center supports well our strategy to develop and maintain close relationships with our customers and being able to supply the market in the best and most flexible way with new production technology,” says Christian Rolf Jacobsen, VP Commercial Development, Flavor Division.

“The new production center and a new range of enzyme modified dairy flavors, will give us a 100% control over both the process and the time-to-market. And the product development - in close collaboration with our customers - will be easier with a full-scale production center in the neighbourhood”.
