International Ayrshire

Steam-Valley Wilton Magic Bri, owned by John Cannon and Kurt Wolf of Epwoth, Iowa, captured the Grand Champion honours at the 2011 International Ayrshire Show.

Bri was the winning Five-Year-Old Cow, Best Uddered in her class and the recipient of the Udder Comfort $1,000 Grand Champion Cash Award. The 2010 defending Champion, Sweet Pepper Black Francesca, exhibited by Beverly Donovan of Benton, Maine, was tapped as the Reserve Grand Champion.

Again this year, both the Premier Breeder and Premier Exhibitor banners were awarded to Palmyra Farms of Hagerstown, Maryland. Blackaddar Bb Kellogg continues his rein as the Premier Sire of the show.

International Ayrshire Junior

Tanner Topp of Wooster, Ohio exhibited Conebella Sarge’s Wendy, the 2011 Grand Champion of the International Ayrshire Junior Show at World Dairy Expo on opening day.

Conebella Sarge’s Wendy was the first junior of the Ayrshire Four-Year-Old Cow class.

Reserve Grand Champion Female of the Junior Show went to Maple-Dell Poker Spade-ET exhibited by Derek Patrick, of Woodbine, Maryland.

Maple-Dell Poker Spade-ET was the first place Junior in the Ayrshire Junior Three-Year-Old Cow class.

Topp received the $500 Udder Comfort Grand Champion Cash Award presented by Udder Comfort of Williamsburg, Ontario.

International Junior Holstein

Siemers Dundee Hilda 8669-ET, winner of the 125,000 lb. cow class, exhibited by Jordan Siemers, was named Grand Champion and received the Udder Comfort $500 Grand Champion Cash Award.

The second placed 125,000 lb. cow, Budjon-Jk Edge Of Reason, shown by Jordan & Whitney Ebert, Algoma, Wisconsin, received Reserve Grand Champion honours.

Central National Jersey

Pine Haven Ssm Marmie, owned by Nic, Jeni, Ben and Andy Sauder of Tremont, Illinois, was awarded Grand Champion honours. Marmie was the winning Four-Year-Old cow, Best Udder, and the recipient of the Udder Comfort $1,000 Grand Champion Cash Award.

The second place Four-Year-Old Cow, Hillacres Morrae Maryland, exhibited by Budjon Farms and Peter Vail of Lomira, Wisconsin, was named the Reserve Grand Champion.

This year two farms shared the honour for Premier Breeder Arethusa Farm of Litchfield, Conneticuit, and Ratliff Jerseys of Garnett, Kansas. and River Valley Farm of Tremont, Illinois was named Premier Exhibitor of the show. Bridon Remake Comerica-ET was named Premier Sire.

Central National Junior Jersey

Ben Sauder, from Tremont, Illinois, is certainly no stranger to the winners circle. He exhibited the Grand Champion Female on the Central National Junior Jersey Show for the third consecutive year at World Dairy Expo.

South Mountain Voltage Spice-ET was the first place junior in the Junior-Three-Year-Old Cow class and earned Sauder the $500 Udder Comfort Grand Champion Cash Award. Additionally, Ben along with his siblings, Nic, Jeni and Andy, exhibited the Reserve Grand Champion. Spice’s herdmate, Willdina Jade Bee, a Senior-Three-Year-Old, captured Reserve Grand Champion honours.

International Milking Shorthorn

Innisfail Ro Lady 5086-TW-EXP, exhibited by John Stuart Rowe of Orland, California, was named the Grand Champion of the International Milking Shorthorn Show at World Dairy Expo.

Lady was the winning Five-Year-Old, Best Uddered and recipient of the Udder Comfort $1,000 Grand Champion Cash Award.

Reserve Grand Champion Female was Lands-Brook Christina-EXP-ET, a Five-Year-Old, exhibited by Jordan Landsgard of Lands-Brook Farms, St. Olaf, Iowa.

International Junior Milking Shorthorn

Mi-San Acres O Lust-ET, exhibited by David Riley of Williamsfield, Ohio wins the International Junior Milking Shorthorn Show at the 2011 World Dairy Expo and the $500 Udder Comfort Grand Champion Cash Award.

Lust was the winner of the Senior-Two Year Old Cow class. The Reserve Grand Champion of the Junior Show was the winning Junior Two-Year Old Cow, Cherrywood Elizabeth I I, exhibited by Roxann Achen, Ambia, Indiana.
