Livestock Rescues Still Underway In Bundaberg
AUSTRALIA - Torrential rain along eastern areas has disrupted travel, damaged buildings and killed some livestock displacing other animals miles from farm, according to ABC Rural.

The clean-up from the Queensland floods is well underway, but in regions west of Bundaberg, rescues are still taking place, reports ABC Rural.
While the residents are safe, the focus has now turned to saving livestock that were washed away as the Burnett River rose.
Thousands of head of cattle and pigs have died, but some have survived, thanks to farmers like Greg Green, who's using a tinnie and horse float to rescue animals from trees and creeks.
"In the last few days, we've rescued well in excess of 100 pigs, 40-odd of those were hanging up in trees in the river and we rescued those in a boat and dragged them back to shore," he said.
"They don't mind their stalls when they get home with a good bit of feed and water; they're just too happy to be home."
