Bull Indices Welcome Newcomer
GLOBAL – DairyCo’s latest bull indices have shown both prevalence of established sires and the arrival of new comers in an important step for widening bloodlines.

The Profitability Lifetime Index ranking is now led by US-bred Whitman O Man Awesome Andy – a product of Oman x Zade.
Rising from fourth, DairyCo has noted the animal’s ‘exceptional’ daughter fertility characteristic (7.1) and good udder health (SCC index -23).
Daughter lactation ratings are 0.8 meaning he is a breed leader. DairyCo has said this will mean that daughters will last nearly a full lactation longer than the average cow.
Henry Sanderson of Cogent said that almost half of all bulls in the top 100 proven sires list are sons of Oman.
