Argentina Assists Paraguay With FMD Risk

ARGENTINA – A foot and mouth disease (FMD) framework has been rolled out by Argentinian health experts in Paraguay.

The National Health and Food Quality Service of Argentina trained veterinarians in crisis control and response as well as vaccine handling last month.

This follows the announcement of a ‘twinning project’ between Argentina and Paraguay to strengthen FMD control across badly hit areas of Paraguay.

Training was led by Guillermo Acosta Chaparro, a professional health service trainer.
