Learn About Genomics at Dairy Discovery Day

AUSTRALIA - Dairy farmers and industry people who are interested in learning more about breeding cows in the genomics era are invited to an Australian Breeding Value (ABV) Discovery Day to be held in Melbourne on 30 October 2013.

The programme includes breeding insights related to feed conversion efficiency, indexes and experiences from the UK and Ireland. They will also hear from people who have used the new Genetic Progress Report.

Michelle Axford from the Australian Dairy Improvement Scheme (ADHIS) said the day had already received strong interest. RSVP is essential as places are limited.
