Daily Dairy Trading: Class IV Milk Closes Higher, Monday
US - A quiet tone in the spot markets opened the week with focus falling on both standards of Nonfat Dry Milk, while Class IV milk lifted eight cents.By the end of trading, 1.25 cents separated NDM. Extra Grade standard NDM lifted 6.5 cents, up to $1.9650. Grade A dropped 0.25 cents, closing on $1.9725 after two trades.
There was no change elsewhere in the spot markets.
Milk futures reported a one cent fall in Class III milk, at $18.82 and a jump in Class IV price, closing at $20.65.
November Butter finished a cent lower at $1.5300. Cheese closed on $1.8600.
