Arla Milk Price Unchanged For May

Exchange rates and a "currency smoothing mechanism" to convert milk price for this quarter means Arla's standard UK milk price has lifted 0.03 pence per litre, said Arla.
This takes the price to 25.83 ppl, which is backdated to 1 April 2015.
Explaining why the milk price was held, an Arla spokesperson said: “Commodity markets continue to show their recent negative trend and trading conditions are difficult. We maintain our focus on maximising the returns for our members at a challenging time.”
