Lumpy Skin Disease Outbreak in Kuwait
KUWAIT - There has been an outbreak of Lumpy Skin Disease amongst cattle in Kuwait.There were 26 cases of the disease out of a susceptible population of 3992 on a farm.
Four of these cattle died from the disease, but the rest of the clinical cases are said to be recovering.
The country is implementing surveillance and vaccination schemes to help prevent the spread of the disease.
