ADF Milking awarded King’s Award for Enterprise 2024: Innovation
We are delighted to have been awarded the King’s Award for Enterprise 2024: Innovation for our unique and innovative milking technology, ADF InVent.
ADF InVent is our patented milking technology that automatically controls vacuum levels in the milking liner to improve cow welfare and increase milking parlour efficiency.
As every dairy farmer knows, it is impossible to have a personalised milking liner for each cow. So we developed a solution whereby vacuum is monitored within the mouthpiece chamber of the milking liner to cater for different size teats throughout the dairy herd. If a threshold vacuum level is exceeded, clean filtered air is admitted into the mouthpiece chamber, ensuring optimum milking conditions and protecting the cow’s welfare. Our customers report calmer cows, less teat trauma, higher milk yields and faster milk letdown. Learn more about ADF InVent.
We are honoured to be acknowledged by the royal family for a third time and it is a true testament to our hard working employees and our company ethos.
Our Founder James Duke is thrilled to receive the coveted King’s Award for Enterprise 2024. “With our InVent technology we’re proud to have a product that will really add value to dairy farm operations, both in the UK and around the world. And we have managed to achieve that with a simple and cost effective solution that is applicable to any dairy farm. A product’s success is based on the value we give our customers. And I’m pleased to say that our high level of sales and positive customer feedback suggests that InVent continues to give value to dairy farmers by improving cow welfare and longevity. We believe we have a truly revolutionary product, and achieving the King’s Award has confirmed that for us.”
