IFA Meet French, Italian & Spainish on CAP 2013
IRELAND - Irish Farmers' Association President John Bryan and National Livestock Chairman Henry Burns discussed changes to the Ciolos CAP 2013 proposals for the livestock sector at a high level meeting with their French, Italian and Spanish colleagues at the Salon International de l’Agriculture in Paris.Organised by the IFA and the French FNB (Federation Nationale Bovine) John Bryan said the Ciolos CAP 2013 negotiations are now at a very critical stage and IFA is working very hard with other farm organisations across Europe.
The IFA leader said the meeting, which was chaired by the President of the French FNB Pierre Chevalier, also heard strong objections to the Ciolos proposals from the Italian and Spanish representatives.
