Jalisco Exports First Cattle Shipment to Jordan

MEXICO - On the 26 July, Mexico sent its first shipment of cattle to Jordan.

In the Mexican port of Tampico, Tamaulipas, the first shipment of 3,829 Mexican cattle left to to the city of Amman, in Jordan.

The National Health Service, Food Safety and Food Quality (SENASICA) reported that the breeds of cattle exported were Charolais, Limousin, Angus, Brown Swiss and Simmental.

This new market follows Turkey's decision in 2011 to allow Mexican imports.
