Government Acknowledges Young-stock Payment Failure

12 July 2013

UKRAINE – Cattle farmers have not received young stock grants due to bureaucratic errors, the government has revealed.

The money is part of a raft of subsidy boosts aimed at energising Ukraine cattle and is pulled from a pool of 142 million grivna (€13.4 million).

Around 137,000 young cattle are thought to be included in the payment strategy.

Those still to receive subsidies are advised to contact the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Advisory Centre.
