Free roaming African Buffaloes are suspected to be the cause of fifteen cases, say Ministry reports.
The Ivilivinzi village is the focus of the outbreak, which puts the 761 head Sanga cattle herd under threat.
Namibia’s current disease status will not alter due to Caprivi being an FMD area.
So far no culling been officially reported by the World Organisation for Animal Health.
