Belgian Farmers Launch New Cheese

15 June 2015

BELGIUM - Belgian dairy farmers from Faircoop have founded a new brand of cheese - made exclusively from grass-fed cows's milk

Milk going into Fairebel cheese must be organic, free of genetically modified organisms and from cows fed regionally produced feed.

The decision to prioritize the highest quality dairy products as a business strategy meets the cooperative needs to survive and compete under constantly changing industry economics.

There are two types of cheese under the Fairebel brand: soft cheese in 200g pack and a hard cheese in cubes (150g).

Retailers are currently stocking the new cheese lines, which follow the Fairebel range of milk products.
