CEO of Royal FrieslandCampina and the president of Dutch Dairy Association (NZO) Mr Roelof Joosten visited China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA) and met with Vice Minister Mr Teng Jiaca.

According to the NZO, Mr Teng talked about the tightening of Chinese food safety laws in the field of infant and young child feeding (IFT recipe regulation).

To gain more insight into these systems suggested Roelof Joosten asked him to organise a seminar for NZO and CFDA affiliated parties that will be affected by this change. Mr Teng responded enthusiastically and supports the idea to leave this seminar take place.

Ideas were also exchanged to increase consumer confidence with regard to locally produced dairy products.

Growth in Dutch dairy exports to China continues to increase.
