More Than 46,000 Heads of Livestock Identified
KYRGYZSTAN - More than 46,000 heads of livestock were identified to date as part of the livestock identification campaign, said Chairman of the Veterinary and Phytosanitary Safety Inspectorate Kalysbek Jumakanov at the meeting of the parliament committee on 13 February.Over 500,000 soms in revenues were received from the campaign so far, he said.
Mr Jumakanov said that the recommendations on tariffs for veterinary services as part of this campaign were worked out.
“We have tariffs on vaccination, diagnostics, and identification of livestock. They were already given to the members of local councils. These tariffs must be formalized by the members of local councils. They can change the tariffs,” said Mr Jumakanov.
