BelTA reports that according to the diplomat, Belarus and Italy are working on the implementation of joint projects.

"Certain progress has been achieved in some projects in Minsk and other regions with Italian participation.

"They are largely related to dairy products processing. We are now working on the projects on Minsk wastewater facilities.

"There is interest in Belarus' automotive manufacturing, too," the ambassador added.

According to him, there are almost 200 companies with Italian participation registered in Belarus. This number grows every year.

The cooperation with Belarus is starting to draw the interest of Italy's small and medium-sized business, as well as large Italian companies and banks.
