TORONTO - Justice Warren Winkler, the Regional Senior Justice of Toronto, is the judge who will decide whether the BSE class action filed in Ontario on behalf of Canadian cattle producers against the federal government and Ridley will proceed. The claim alleges that Agriculture Canada was negligent in allowing cattle meat and bonemeal to be incorporated into cattle feed in 1990, two years after the practice was banned in England in an attempt to stop the spread of mad cow disease.Source: PincherCreekEcho
