Australian fluid milk imports forecast to increase in 2025

By: Australia's fluid milk imports remain relatively low but are forecast to increase slightly to 10,000 metric tons (MT) in 2025, according to a recent US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Global Agricultural Information Network (GAIN) report.
These numbers are up from an estimated 9,000 MT in 2024.
As of January to September 2024, imports have totalled 6,800 MT. If this pace continues, the estimated 2024 import volume is expected to be reached.
