Last week, Lactalis Canada held a special event to celebrate the reopening of Lactalis Canada’s Sudbury, Ontario site – home to Lactalis Canada’s new plant-based Enjoy! brand, according to a company-issued press release. The event marked this important milestone and included an employee celebration and festivities, a tree planting ceremony and remarks from Lactalis Canada President & CEO Mark Taylor and other company executives, government and community partners.

Established in 1962 and located at 500 Barry Downe Road, Lactalis Canada’s Sudbury facility was a fully operational milk processing plant for six decades. In 2022, Lactalis Canada began renovation to convert the site into a 33,150 sq. ft., state-of-art plant-based facility. The facility reopened in April 2024 and is now Lactalis Canada’s first dedicated plant-based facility and home to its new plant-based Enjoy! brand – a nutritious and delicious, unsweetened, high protein line of plant-based beverages now in market. Lactalis Canada looks forward to continuing to play a vital role in the region through its economic and social contribution.
